It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Clarence Gerald “Sonny” London which occurred at Bobby’s Hospice on Monday, January 18th, 2021.  Born 1939, in Saint John, he was the son of the late Clarence E. and Geraldine (Lavigne) London. Sonny worked for Labatt Breweries for 35 years before retiring in 2004.  In his earlier years he enjoyed baseball and fishing.

Sonny is survived by his loving and devoted wife Audrey (Lawton) of 40 years; daughters Callie C (Gordon), Almeda N (Nelson), Julie L (Art) all of Saint John; step-daughters Lori T (Brian) and Linda C (John) of Oshawa, ON; sister Jane B (Hootch) of Saint John; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.  Along with his parents, Sonny was predeceased by his daughter Leanne and sisters Lorraine and Almeda.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Thursday, May 13th from 10-11 a.m. followed by a Memorial Service in the chapel beginning at 11 a.m.  Interment will follow at Fernhill Cemetery. Donations in memory of Sonny may be made to Bobby’s Hospice or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
