Marvin Ray DuBose Skokie, Illinois Obituary

Marvin Ray DuBose

<center>Marvin Ray Dubose was born February 8, 1958 at Cook County Hospital in Evanston, Illinois. Marvin departed this life on Sunday, January 17, 2021. Marvin started his life in Evanston, Illinois and ended his life in Evanston, Illinois. In between those years, he lived in St. Louis, MO, Kansas City, Kansas, Phoenix AZ and Berea Kentucky. Marvin was a man who loved the lord and if anyone ever had a conversation with him, he would make sure that you did not leave him without knowing his love of the lord. Marvin was full of compassion for mankind and would give you the shirt right off his back if you needed it. In Lexington, KY Marvin and his family were members of the Life Church. He attended and connected to many churches in his lifetime. One such church in particular was the Metropolitan Missionary Baptist church in Lexington, KY where he assisted in the distribution of food for the hungry. While in Berea, KY he served on the Board of Health ministries. He was part of numerous men’s prayer ministries. The latest prayer group was in the Illinois area where he connected with old friends he had grown up with. Marvin touched so many lives while he was on this earth that if you could reach out to them and ask them to light a candle on his behalf, his light would surely shine. Marvin loved life and often never met a stranger; he had a feisty spirit that was kind and warm. When he walked into the room, you knew he had arrived with a big smile, a hug and maybe a plate of food to share with you. He enjoyed a good meal and a good conversation. Marvin was very skilled in the area of financial services and mortgage lending. A born entrepreneur, Marvin’s highlight was his position as Director of a Home Healthcare organization. Marvin DuBose as I know him to be one of the kindest and most considerate person I have ever know. Once I you got to know him him he would always display all of these quality that is not always shown in a lot of people.. He loved his family and they loved him .
