Anthony E. Slabacheski Obituary

Anthony E. Slabacheski, 82, of Beverly passed away suddenly Saturday, January 16, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth (Flynn) Slabacheski. Born in Plains, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late Anthony and Frances (Popko) Slabaczewski. Anthony attended Plains Memorial High School and was an Air Force Veteran stationed at Kimpo Air Base Korea, attaining the rank of Airman 2nd Class-6520th Air Police Division. Upon his honorable discharge from active duty, he earned a degree at Bentley University. Subsequently he became Senior Vice President at Walker Associates, Boston MA. He was a devout Catholic and an extraordinary minister at St. Margaret’s Parish in Beverly Farms, MA. Anthony had many great days; his best was when he married Elizabeth, his bride of 58 years and the births of his three children and four grandchildren. In addition, September 16, 1997 when he secured his one and only hole-in-one. On Anthony’s behalf, a final hello to the members of F Troop at Beverly Golf and Tennis Club and all his professional colleagues at HFMA and MAPAM. The camera has been retired to the Hall of Fame. In addition to his wife, Anthony is survived by his daughter Lisa Anderson and her husband Brian of Stoughton; two sons A. Peter Slabacheski and his wife Judene of Melrose, James F. Slabacheski of Huntington Beach, CA; one sister Jeannie Riccetti of Plains, PA; and four grandchildren Jill Slabacheski and her fiancé Cole Miller, Alex Slabacheski, Michael Anderson, Nicole Anderson; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four siblings Walter, Peter, Edward, and Theresa Slabacheski. Services for Anthony will be held privately due to Covid 19 restrictions.
