Mary Estelle Albert Meredith, aka “Meme” “Granny” Age 83, of Burlington passed away suddenly Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Aurora Memorial Hospital, Burlington. She was born at home to Mark and Dorothy (McCoy) Albert in McCoy, Virginia. Her early life was spent in McCoy where she graduated from Blacksburg High School. She was united in marriage to Charles Meredith Jr. Following their marriage, they resided in Hampton, Virginia before she eventually settled in Burlington, WI in 1989. She was a loving mother and grandmother who belonged to the “Free Spirited Club” where she danced to the beat of her own drum through-out her life. Mary enjoyed life to the fullest and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as cooking, gardening and watching birds. Mary is survived by her children Gerald Meredith and Valerie Labelle Meredith Molle, grandchildren: Keith (Jennifer) Molle and Travis Molle, great- grandchildren: Kaleb, Dominick, and Jaxon Molle. She is further survived by her siblings: Eleanore King, Kitty Collins, Emily (Jerry) Oliver, Mitchel (Diana) Albert, sister-in-law Sandy Albert, brother-in-law Kenneth Akers, many special nieces and nephews and special friends Clarebell Johnson and JoAnn Kramer and other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Eula Akers, brother Mark “Mac” Albert, Jr., daughter-in-law, Debra Meredith and brothers-in-law Charles King and John Collins, and significant friend Tom Terborg and nephew Darrell Hungate.
