<p>&nbsp;&nbsp; VIVIAN JEANETTE WINTER, age 93, of Worthington, died Saturday, January 16th, 2021 at South Shore Care Center in Worthington. She was born August 14, 1927 in Wilmont, MN; to Matthew and Agnes (Keary) Gerber.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp; Vivian was united in marriage to Alvin &ldquo;Bud&rdquo; Winter on January 15, 1945, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Wilmont. They lived in Wilmont, and then moved to many locations as Bud was a brick and block layer, building churches in the tri-state area. They finally settled in Worthington in 1959.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp; She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Worthington. Vivian worked at Campbell Soup Company, in Worthington, for over thirty years, making many friends on the night shift and later the day shift. Vivian took great pride in having spent so many years with the company. Cooking for her family and cleaning were her passion. After her retirement, if you pulled in the alley at lunch time during the summer, you could smell the food and fresh baked pies wafting out the open window. If you made your way to the back door the familiar sound of Vivian&rsquo;s voice would warn those entering &ldquo;Take Your Shoes Off&rdquo;! Throughout her life she had an unwavering love for all her siblings.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp; Vivian is survived by two sons, Thomas (Kathy) Winter, Sibley IA; and Michael (Karen) Winter, Sioux Falls, SD; three daughters, Jane (Beshara) Sharbean, Sydney, Australia; Cynthia (Karl) Dekker, Worthington; and Nancy Winter, Minnetonka, MN; twelve grandchildren, Tammy Cassidy, Bristow, Virginia; Timothy (Donna), Wilmington, DE; Matthew, Sioux City, IA; Jennifer (Julie) Winter, Rochester, MN; Nadim (Maria) Sharbean, Sydney, Australia; Tricia (Matthew) Morosin, Sydney, Australia; Bradley (Janel) Dekker, Marshall, MN; Jimmy (Laisa) Dekker, Sioux Falls, SD; Patricia Dekker, Sioux Falls, SD; Katie (Chris) Shepherd, Arlington TX; Kristen Winter, Minneapolis, MN; and Allison Winter, Sioux Falls, SD; fourteen great-grandchildren; four brothers, Alan (Beverly) Gerber, Richfield, MN; Michael (Louise) Gerber, Edina, MN; Claire (JoAnn) Gerber, Worthington, MN; and Dennis (Friend Rosie) Gerber, Wilmont, MN; and a sister, Shirley Meyer, Wilmont, MN.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp; She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alvin &ldquo;Bud&rdquo; in 1999; four brothers, Maynard, Donald, James and Daryl Gerber; and two sisters, Yvonne &ldquo;Sis&rdquo; Winter and Kathleen Krull.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp; Visitation will be from 9-11 am Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Worthington. Funeral Mass will be 11 am Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Church, in Worthington, officiated by Father James Calahan and Deacon Vern Behrends.    VIVIAN JEANETTE WINTER, age 93, of Worthington, died Saturday, January 16th, 2021 at South Shore Care Center in Worthington. She was born August 14, 1927 in Wilmont, MN; to Matthew and Agnes (Keary) Gerber.
