Mrs. Thelma Thompson Boyd, age 96 of Clemmons passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021.  She was born in Camden NC to the late Burney Edgar Thompson and Elsie Myrtle Hudson Thompson.  Mrs. Boyd was a member of First Christian Church of Clemmons and was preceded in death by her husband, Elgin Lee Boyd and one son, Stephen Alan Boyd.  She is survived by one son, Ron Boyd (Cheryl); four grandchildren, Brad Boyd, Julianne Dodson (Jeff), Christine Edwards and Valerie Shaw (Ronald) and six great grandchildren, Josh, Travis, Andrew, Jacob, Riley and Brayden.  A private family graveside service will be held at First Christian Church of Clemmons Cemetery officiated by Pastor Ray Keeton.
