Jeanette went home to be with the Lord on January 17, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Tom Pepe; 4 children, Leonard Pepe and his wife, Donna; Damian Pepe and his wife, Kendra; Robert Pepe; Denise Bocker and her husband, Baron; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Dominick Pisano and his wife, Lenore; loving family and friends. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on January 24, 1940 to Anne and Dominick Pisano. She attended Bayridge High School in Brooklyn, New York. After she married, she lived in many places including the Philippines. The love she had for cooking led to catering for many different occasions in her early years. She returned to college in her 40’s to graduate from the University of South Florida with her teaching degree. She taught emotionally handicapped kids at Pasco Comp High School before her retirement in 1995. Jeanette was known for her love of family, to cook and bake, travel, and her sense of humor. She was the ultimate planner for anything from holidays to vacations. Quilting, scrapbooking, and crocheting were among some of her hobbies that she loved to do in her spare time. Listening and singing to music and dancing were also things she enjoyed throughout her life. She knew the words to all the oldies and knew all the dance moves from the 50’s. Jeanette was loved by many and will be remembered for many different reasons by her family and friends. Gathering in Memory will be Thursday, February 4th, 2021 - 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM - Brewer & Sons Funeral Home Brooksville Chapel Funeral Mass and Florida National will be on Friday, February 5, 2021 - Times to be confirmed soon. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital, or Shriner's Hospital in Tampa.
