Caillouet, Patricia Gayle      

Opelousas- A Private Graveside Service will be held for Patricia Gayle Caillouet in Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery. Deacon Sammy Diesi will conduct the service. Burial will follow In Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery in Opelousas.

A resident of Heritage Manor of Opelousas, Patricia Gayle died January 16, 2021. Born in Crowley, Louisiana December 10, 1935 to James and Edna Daigle Caillouet, She was the third of eight children. She graduated from Opelousas High in 1954, graduated from Charity School of Nursing, then began her long nursing career at Baton Rouge General. She retired in Opelousas Louisiana where she faithfully attended St. Landry Catholic Church and belonged to her special rosary group.  

Gayle is survived by her two sisters, Marlene Caillouet and Jackie Caillouet Lafleur: four brothers, James T. Caillouet, Nicholas L. Caillouet, John W. Caillouet (Gayle) and C. Dwight Caillouet (Jo Ann O) and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother Donald Caillouet and wife Georgia Smith Caillouet; sister-in-laws: Carolyn Cobb Caillouet, Carolyn Lafleur Caillouet, Brother-in-law Harry Lafleur; niece Marla LaFleur Pitre, and Niece Sadie Caillouet.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to your favorite charity in memory of Patricia Gayle Caillouet.
