Sidney Lee Dennis, Jr., 80, of Gambrills, Maryland, passed away at his home, on January 16, 2021. He is survived by his loving wife of over 58 years, Barbara Dennis. Born on October 29, 1940 in Baltimore, Maryland, he is the son of the late Sidney Lee Dennis, Sr. and Mary Lorraine Dennis. Known by his family and friends as Lee, he retired from the BWI Airport Fire Department, as a Captain, with over 34 years of public service. In addition, he was employed, in a part-time capacity, at Reliable Contracting. He is survived by his son, Raymond Dennis and wife Julie, grandchildren Courtney Clark and David Dennis and great grandson Jayden Stonebraker, his brother, Harry Dennis and his sister-in-law, Mary Carrigg. Lee was preceded in death by his son, Brian Dennis. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Fields in Millersville, Maryland.
