Patricia "Pat" Ledesma, of Wellington, Kansas, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021 at the Wellington Health & Rehab at the age of 85. She was born the daughter of Edward and Helen (Skidmore) Murray on May 23, 1935 in El Reno, OK. She attended grade school at the Sacred Heart Academy in El Reno, OK and graduated from Wellington High School in 1954. Pat worked many years at the Chief Drug Store but will ultimately be known for serving up love, laughs and cheese enchiladas at the Commodore. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joe Ledesma and sisters, Wanda Carroll and Joan Mitchell. Survivors include her sons, Mark Guthrie and wife Kim, Lee Summit, MO; Marten Guthrie, Dena, Wellington, KS; daughters, Leigh Ann Asmann, Wichita, KS; Kristi Shore and husband Don of Montrose, CO. Pat also had 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. A family graveside service will be held at Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Wellington, KS. A memorial has been established in her name with the American Diabetes Association. Contributions can be mailed or left with the funeral home.
