Bert D. Burris

Bert D. Burris passed away Jan. 10, 2021, in Vancouver, WA. Bert was born Sept. 11, 1968, in Levittown, PA, to Charles Burris and Stacy Behfar. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, target shooting, camping, skydiving, bridge jumping and jet skiing. He also loved concerts. Bert was an officer on board container ships and worked as a sailor for most of his life, traveling all over the world. Bert was smart, thoughtful, kind and had the best sense of humor. Bert is survived by his wife, LeaAnne Gardner Burris; son, Brandon D. Burris; brothers, Jason Baldwin and Charlie Burris; grandchildren, Sara and Blaeden Burris; and stepfather, Kaveh Behfar. He was predeceased by his father, Charles Burris, and mother, Stacy Behfar. A memorial service was held Jan. 18, 2021, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. A special thank you to Jodie Behfar, Dani Hornaday and Larry Ewing.
