Beverly Ann (Pride) Troisi, 79, of Lynn, died Thursday morning at the Salem Hospital following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of James R Troisi with whom she shared over 57 years of marriage. Born in Medford, she was the daughter of the late William Aubrey and Martha Victoria (Strom) Pride. She was raised and educated in Medford and was a graduate of Medford High School, class of 1960. Upon marrying her husband James, she moved to Lynn where she has lived for the past 57 years. Beverly first worked at the First National Store in Medford as a clerk until she started her family. Once her children were school aged, she worked mothers’ hours as a counter server at Good Luck Farms in Lynn and later at Captain Bob’s for over 12 years. Beverly was very active and enjoyed bowling, playing bingo, doing ceramics and crossword puzzles, playing cards and scrabble, and watching and playing along TV game shows as well. She also enjoyed playing the organ and piano. Besides her loving husband of 57 years, she is survived by her son James R Troisi, Jr and his wife Alice of Lynn, her daughter Jeanine Delaney and her husband James of Middleton, her brother David Pride and his wife Helen of Groveland, her sisters, Joan and her husband Merl Heaton of OR, Audrey Darrigo and her husband Joseph of Dracut, and Deborah Yunes and her husband James of Alton Bay, NH, and by her beloved grandchildren, Kathleen Troisi and her fiancé John Bossi, Madeline, Elizabeth, and Kevin Troisi, Ashley and her husband Wayne Rock, Melissa and her husband Adam Provost, and Charlotte and Heather Delaney and also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Donald and Charles Pride, Lois Saucier, and Marilyn Dray. Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 9:00 AM at St. Mary’s Church, Lynn. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Lake St, Peabody. All attendees are required to wear facial coverings and maintain social distancing as well.
