Adam J. Colunga Obituary

Adam Joshua Colunga, beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, passed away with family at his side at Methodist Hospital on Tuesday, January 12, 2021. He was 34. Adam was born October 23, 1986 in San Antonio to his Mother, Sandra, and a loving, supporting family. He graduated from Judson High School in 2005 with interests in Graphic Design and a passion for playing music. After entering the field of food service, he “worked his way up” from a cook at Sonic to a cook at EZ's Restaurant in 2006 to being promoted to the youngest General Manager ever at EZ's. He was very good at what he did and was very well liked, even loved, by co-workers His passion for music started by playing the violin then saxophone, acoustic guitar and electric guitar. He and his friends started a band named Psychomatic and had regular gigs at the White Rabbit. He was an avid collector of firearms and a passionate dog lover. His loving nature, humor and great heart will always be remembered. He very much loved his Nieces and Nephews. Adam was preceded in death by his Grand Parents on both sides and niece, baby Luz. Adam is survived by his loving Mother, Sandra and her Life Partner, Craig Reali, Sister Blanca and her family, Brother Angel and his family, Brother Luz and his family, close Cousins Jesse Palacios, Jackie Palacios and her family, and close Aunt Maria Palacios and many other Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a memorial contribution in Adam's name to the non-profit rescue organization; San Antonio Pet's Alive. www.sanantoniopetsalive.org You are invited to sign the Guestbook at www.puenteandsons.com
