Shackelton, Antonio Mendez, Grandmother of Veronica Mendez and Christina Mendez ( spouse ) Jonatan David Potter Great Grandmother of Nevin Malik Mendez ( spouse ) Kenya Mendez, Dante Devlin Mendez, Alberto Manuel Colon, Noemi Angelica Mendez Potter, Johnathan Elias Eduardo Mendez potter, Lana Roselane Mendez potter Great Great Grandmother to Nyla Journey Mendez Dominga loved cooking and sewing as a little girl she made gloves for .25 cents along side her mother to make ends meet. She developed a love for sewing and became a seamstress her biggest joy was cooking there was nothing she couldn’t create while in her element. The holidays were her favorite by October, November she was already planning her menu she had such a knack for decorating the house for the holidays she was so meticulous in all she did. She loved her time with her family’s always making them feel so welcomed and never wanting them to leave always saying “ it’s still early stay a while longer “ she couldn’t get enough of flowers, plants she loved them all spending time in the yard admiring the flowers enjoyed her visits to the botanical garden with family she always looked forward to seeing friends Marysol Reyes her mom Gladys Reyes and the twins always remembering all those dear to her heart during this pandemic. She will be truly missed. Visitation for Dominga will be held Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Casey Laskowski Funeral Home 4540 W. Diversey Avenue from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Mass of Catholic Burial will be held Wednesday, January 20, 2021 9:00 A.M. at Resurrection Church. Following interment at St. Joseph Cemetery.
