<p>Obituary</p> <p>&ldquo;Man of Steel&rdquo;</p> <p>Officer Hector Moya, was born November 23, 1965, in Brooklyn, New York City, and raised in Yauco, Puerto Rico, and later settled in New Jersey. While gifted with many talents Hector was guided by LT. John Morales, dear friend, mentor, and brother-in-law who introduced Hector into the field of law enforcement. It was serving as a police officer that Hector found his calling and joined the Newark Police Division in March 1998. His assignments included many ranks within the respected Divisions. Officer Moya was a highly respected member of the Newark Police Division.&nbsp; Officer Moya served for twenty-two years with honor, excellence, dignity, respect, and courtesy.&nbsp; Hector will always be remembered for touching the hearts of others with gentleness, compassion,&nbsp; humility, friendship, but above all love! He always extended his loving spirit, selfless support, and contagious smile to all he met. He was a friend to all and his contributions to protect, and serve will forever be missed but not forgotten. He is survived by his wife Alma Janet Moya, his daughters Katherine Moya and Janet Ivelyese Moya.&nbsp; Sisters, Diana Moya, Ivon Moya, Maribel Moya. Brothers, Antonio Moya, David Moya and many loving Nephews and Nieces, Reunited in Heaven with father, Antonio Moya, mother, Carmen Nereida Felibert, brothers Luis Moya and Robert Moya.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
