RESCOE, Harold Glenn - Age 86, of Flushing, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021. Memorial service will take place 3 PM, Friday, January 22, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will be 2 PM until the time of service Friday. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to the Heart to Heart Hospice.

Harold was born on June 8, 1934 in Detroit the son of Herbert and Glenna (Boldt) Rescoe. He received two Master degrees. Harold proudly served in the United States Navy until his honorable discharge. He retired from the Lake Orion Community Schools as the principal of Webber and Carpenter Elementary Schools. Harold and Elinor Strehle were united in marriage on September 3, 1960 in Pontiac. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, playing cards, reading, the outdoors, gardening and traveling.

He is survived by his wife, Elinor Rescoe; 4 children, Greg Rescoe (Sherry Rudrick), Julie Rescoe (Mark Mose), Mark (Anne) Rescoe and Laura (Tim) Morris; 4 grandchildren, Eric, Nick, Jake, Aiden and John Klein; brother, Howard (Mary) Rescoe; sister, Vera Sandage; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
