<p>Nellie M. Mauk, 85, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on January 15, 2021 at Audubon Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on May 26, 1935 in Glasgow, Kentucky the daughter of the late Murrell and Louvenie (Memerson) Houchens. Nellie was a beautician and worked for Accent on Hair Salon. Nellie enjoyed gardening, planting flowers, yard work and her dog, Pugsley.</p> <p>Cremation was chosen and entrusted with Legacy Funeral Center 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130.</p> <p>In addition to her parents Nellie was preceded in death by her husband, John Mauk; brother, Benton Houchens. She is survived by her loving son, Steve Mauk and his companion Jenny; sister, Alma Gene Cash both of Glasgow, Kentucky; grandchildren, Jeremy (Meagan),&nbsp;Julie, Andrew;&nbsp;great- grandchildren, Chance and Sidney.</p>
