FROSTBURG- Patricia Ellen “Patsy” Beechie, 76, of Frostburg passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Egle Nursing Home. Born October 30, 1944 in Frostburg, she was the daughter of the late John E. Sr. and Rita M. (McKenzie) Raley. She is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, James R. Beechie, Sr., sister, Teresa “Peach” Raley and Peggy Booth.

Patsy had worked for 33 years at the Frostburg Village Nursing Home. She was a member of Divine Mercy Parish at St. Michael’s. She was an avid gardener who loved flowers and she enjoyed bowling.

She is survived by son, James R. Beechie, Jr., and wife Marsha of Frostburg; daughter, Jennifer Weimer and husband Ron of Frostburg; grandson Rusty Rafferty and Amanda Miller of Delaware; brother John E. Raley and wife Barbara; brothers-in-law Bill Beechie and wife Linda, John Beechie, and Walter Booth; sister-in law Mary Schmidt and husband James. Also, life-long friend Sharon Femi.

Family will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 from 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday at 2 p.m. with Father Ed Hendricks officiating. Interment will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
