Dolores Czyzycki Obituary

LOWELL, MA – Dolores (Korsak) Czyzycki, 88, died peacefully on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at her home in Lowell, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved matriarch of her family. Born in Lowell, MA, she was the daughter of the late John P. and Irene (Stasiowski) Korsak. She was a graduate of Lowell High School. After school, she worked in her family’s diner, Hayes’ Lunch, where she met the love of her life Mathew. She devoted her life to taking care of her immediate & extended family, friends and all her furry companions. She had the fattest squirrels in Massachusetts. She was an avid reader and, because she never forgot growing up on the farm, enjoyed gardening. Moving out to “the Camp” every summer came only after Matt "installed closets". Dolores will be deeply missed by her children, Andrea Morgan and her husband Donald, Mathew Czyzycki, Patricia Czyzycki, Amy Doherty, and Elizabeth Carnevale and her husband Dennis. She is also survived by her sister, Barbara Bogdan. Babka will also be missed by her loving grandchildren, Michael Welch, Nicole Cluff and her husband Ian, Bryan Welch, Taylor Cedar and her husband Wade, SPC Damian Carnevale and Elyse Doherty, 3 great-granddaughters, Emma, Isabel and Violet Cluff, the "adopted" Ahern family, Laura, Kara, Jeffrey, Kyle, Themo and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband of 63 loving years Dr. Mathew J. Czyzycki DDS, her daughter Dolores Welch, and her siblings, Irene McGreevy, William Korsak, John Korsak, and Charles Korsak. The Czyzycki family would like to extend their deepest thanks and gratitude to the compassionate care given by her physician, Dr. Argasinski, as well as caregivers from Beacon Hospice and The Visiting Angels. Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, January 19th from 5-8PM at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue in Dracut. Funeral services will be private. A celebration of her life will take place at the lake when we can all gather safely. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to St. Joseph’s Indian School at https://www.stjo.org
