Lucille Viola Widerman Obituary

Lucille Viola Widerman, 93, of Windsor Mill, passed away at home with her family by her side on the morning of January 14, 2021. She was born to parents J. Harry and Edith Subock on December 15, 1927. She married Charles L. Widerman and together they started Charlie's Camping Center, an RV dealership and camping supplies store. They ran the successful family business on Liberty Road for 52 years. Lucille and Charles enjoyed 56 years together until his death in 2009. Her faith was very important to her. She was a lifelong member of St. James Lutheran Church. She always looked forward to her monthly Bible study group with church friends. She enjoyed traveling and went on countless memorable trips to locations all over the world. She also loved camping, especially with the Charlie's Angels camping club. Nothing was more important to her than her family. She is survived by sister Betty J. Sauter (Herbert), son Keith Widerman (Amy), daughters Brenda Widerman and Linda Baskette (Mark), grandchildren Brian Widerman, Kara Widerman, and Megan Baskette, and great-granddaughter Evelyn Cromwell. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles, sister Shirley, and grandson Stephen Deitz. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 19 at 12:30PM at Lake View Memorial Park 2724 Liberty Rd, Sykesville, MD 21784. Social Distancing and mask are required at the cemetery.
