Denise M. Ball, 67, passed away peacefully on Thursday January 14, 2021. Born in Holyoke on January 13, 1954, she was a daughter of the late Roger and Irene (Lajoie) Ball. Denise attended Chapin School and graduated from Chicopee Comprehensive High School. Denise lived in Chicopee for many years, and in 1998 she moved back to Holyoke.  During the school year, she worked with the Holyoke School Department in the Cafeteria at the Donahue School and enjoyed her summers working in the restaurants at Six Flags in Agawam. She was a former communicant of Holy Family Parish and active in the Jericho community. She leaves behind nine cousins from the Lajoie side of her family, many faithful caregivers, and her dear friends at Jericho. Denise loved to travel, shop and the color purple.  She was lucky to have traveled to Rome, Canada, Cape Cod and her favorite place, Disney World in Florida.  Denise was outgoing and spontaneous.  She made a lasting impression on people through her big personality and determination to get what she wanted. All are invited to meet for a short period of visitation on Monday January 18, 2021 from 10:15 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. at Jericho, 537 Northampton St., Holyoke followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in the Jericho Celebration Center celebrated by Rev. Michael J. Twohig. Committal services will follow in St. Rose De Lima Cemetery in Chicopee. Please follow CDC guidelines with social distancing and wear your face masks/coverings throughout the services. Memorial donations may be made in Denise’s memory to Jericho, P.O.
