Dora S. McDermott, 101 of Wellsburg, WV formerly of Cincinnati, OH passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 in Weirton Medical Center, Weirton, WV. She was born April 11, 1918 in Wellsburg, WV the daughter of the late Felix and Modesta Spognardi Diserio. She was preceded in death by her husband Larry McDermott, sisters Mary Lupinetti, Elizabeth Olszeski, and Frances Winski, brothers Joseph Diserio, Paul Diserio, and Eugene Diserio. She was a former employee of the Pillsbury Company; and was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Wellsburg, WV. Surviving are her sister, Virginia Diserio, and brothers, Alfred Diserio and William Diserio all of Wellsburg, WV and numerous nieces and nephews. At the request of Dora there will be no visitation, a Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church on Friday, August 23, 2019 at 10 a.m. with Father Dan Pisano as Celebrant. Interment will take place on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at the Gate of Heaven Garden Mausoleums, Cincinnati, OH.
