Daniel J. McCloskey

Daniel “Danny” McCloskey, age 61 of Faribault, died on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at United Hospital, St. Paul due to complications of lung cancer. Memorial services will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on July 3, 2021 at 10 a.m. *****His service may be viewed below.***** A memorial visitation will be held at the funeral home for one half hour prior to the service on July 3, 2021. Daniel John, the son of John and Mertice (Martin) McCloskey, was born September 30, 1959 in Blue Earth. He graduated from Faribault High School in 1978. Dan was previously employed as a carpenter for various construction companies and enjoyed landscaping. He is survived by his son, Taylor, his mother, Mertice Reck; siblings, Lynn Rundles, Lola (and Jake) Brand and David McCloskey; stepbrother, Doug Reck; nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, John McCloskey; stepfather, Floyd Reck and stepsister, Deb Reck.
