<p>George Lawrence Keefer, age 81 of Pinhook Dr.,Ulysses, KY, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021 in the Three Rivers Medical Center, Louisa,KY after an brief illness. He was born August 20,1939 in Leon,WV.,to Elvin Lawrence Keefer and Freda Elizabeth Baker Keefer. He was a cross country truck driver, U.S. Army Veteran (1957-1963). He was saved &amp; gave his life to the Lord at a small church in Louisa,KY.</p> <p>Surviving are five daughters, Anita L. Kelly, Vicki L. McKenzie, Yolonda L. Ferguson, Mary R. Keefer, Amanda S. Massey. Three sons, Victor S. Moore, Vaughn S. Moore, Abraham S. Keefer. Two sisters, Faye Palmer, Eileen Benson. Five brothers, Ronald Keefer, Dennis Keefer, Donald Keefer, Loren Keefer, Raymond Keefer. 30 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.</p> <p>He was preceded in death by his parents, Elvin Lawrence Keefer and Freda Elizabeth Baker Keefer, one sister Margaret King, one brother Jim Keefer.</p> <p>Graveside services will be held 1:00pm,Friday,January 15,2021 at Wheeler Cemetery, Blaine, KY, with Pastor Jim McKenzie officiating. Interment in the Wheeler Cemetery, Wilber Road, Blaine, KY. Herald &amp; Stewart &amp; Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY.</p> <p>Pallbearers: Victor Moore, Vaughn Moore, Nicholas McKenzie, Rick Kelly, Dee McKenzie, Nate Woods.</p> <p>COVID-19 mandate/ regulations will be followed as set forth by Governor Beshear and the CDC. The family request that visitors respect their desire to keep everyone safe by practicing social distancing guidelines and to wear a face covering of some sort.</p>
