Franklin Delano Davis

<p>Franklin Delano Davis (Dee), 84, of Joshua, Texas, passed away January 12, 2021. He was born on February 17, 1936, in Cleburne, Texas to Fred Davis and Gertrude Reaves.<br /> Franklin retired from the BNSF Railroad in 1998. He worked for the railroad for 42 years. Franklin enjoyed being with his family and friends. He enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, and hunting. Franklin loved to be outside and square dancing. He was an avid photographer.&nbsp;<br /> He was survived by his son Larry Davis and wife, Donna of Rio Vista; daughters Carolyn Davis of Joshua and LaDonna Huff of Aurora Missouri; grandchildren, Justin, Cortny, Brandon, Travis, Charlotte, Micah and Colter; 10 great-grandchildren and brother Wayne Davis and sisters Darlene Brand and Linda Taylor; numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.&nbsp;<br /> He was proceeded in death by his father Fred Davis and his mother Gertrude Reaves, wife June Bryant Davis, his brothers Joe Davis, Charley Davis, and James Davis, and sisters Angie Childress and Pam Robbins.&nbsp;<br /> He will be missed by many and will forever live on in our hearts.<br /> Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19 at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Interment follows at Caddo Cemetery.<br /> Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 18, at Mountain Valley Funeral Home.</p>

I have loved knowing Frank for over twenty years. We worked together for BNSF. I loved his stories and laughter both on and off the job, We have had many long phone conversations and meals since our retirement.  
He loved his family and always had many stories to share....
