Ignacio Valles, 88, passed away on January 14, 2021 in Laredo, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Maria del Jesus Valles; children, Ignacio Valles Jr., Jose Alfredo Valles, Tomas Valles, Francisca Garza, Tomas Alfredo Valles; parents, Alfredo & Sotera Valles.

Left to cherish his memory is his children, Jesus Valles, Manuela Martinez; son in law, Rene Garza; 14 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; sister, Vicenta Sanchez, nieces, nephews, numerous other families and friends.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Gamez and Sons Funeral Home & Cremation Services where a rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m.

A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, from the funeral home to San Luis Rey Catholic Church where a funeral mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. Procession departs at 8:00 a.m. Funeral home opens at 7:00 a.m. 

Cremation will be held at a later date.

Funeral services are under the arrangement of Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 1029 Bob Bullock Loop, Laredo, Texas 78043.

In accordance with city ordinance, the number of visitors will be limited to 50 percent occupancy capacity. Please feel free to wait in your vehicle for a turn if funeral home reaches capacity. All visitors must wear a face mask before entering the building and use hand sanitizer provided upon entry. Visitors must provide their own face covering.  Anyone that is knowingly sick or has upper respiratory illness is asked to stay home and may be denied entry.
