<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 18px;">On January 14, 2021, Imogene Blough passed peacefully into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Born on August 29, 1924, in Freeport, IL, Jean lived all of her life in the Rockford area. After graduating from East High School in 1942, she worked for several years at the Illinois Bell Telephone Company. On May 22, 1948, she married Harry Blough, they shared 48 years of marriage together. Jean volunteered for over 30 years at River Bluff Nursing Home and enjoyed being a member of Garden Club. She attended many in-depth Bible studies at First Free Church and enjoyed serving funeral receptions at First Assembly of God Church for many years. </span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 18px;">She is lovingly remembered by her children, Anita Smith of CO, James (Jen) Blough of MI, and Carolyn (Steve) Ungs of Loves Park, IL; grandchildren, Sarah (Mark) Hirleman, Rachel (Keith) Wood, Timothy (Amanda) Blough, Kirsten (David) Basco, Seth (Allison) Boomgarden, Libby (Pete) Myszka; great grandchildren, Hope Hirleman, Sawyer and Beckett Blough, Silas Myszka; and sister Patricia Jurgens. Predeceased by husband, Harry Blough who passed in 1996; sister, Janice Johnson; and brother, Fred Redmer. </span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 18px;">Due to COVID-19, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, in remembrance of Jean&rsquo;s life the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Jean&rsquo;s granddaughter and husband who are missionaries in Zambia, Libby and Pete Myszka, at overlandmissions.com.
