<p>Richard Keith Tomsick, 83, of Arvada Colorado, passed away peacefully at his home on January 10, 2021.</p> <p>Richard was born in Silver Cliff, Colorado on Valentine&rsquo;s Day 1937 to Joe Tomsick and Marjorie (Magee) Tomsick. He grew up with his sister Gloria Squire. &nbsp;He graduated from Custer County High School in 1955, and then Western State College in 1958 with a Bachelor of Arts degree at Gunnison, Colorado.</p> <p>Occupations in life included high school teacher, Gambles general store owner and Bovas Pantry and Deli store owner, landlord, construction and carpentry.&nbsp; Hobbies and interests included woodworking, antique car restoration, golfing, bowling, watching sports, playing cribbage and member in several clubs of his interest.&nbsp; His greatest love and life fulfillments were spending time with and caring for his family and friends.</p> <p>Richard is survived by his wife, Evelyn; sons, Dennis (Marybeth), Dean (Teri); grandchildren, Stephanie (Adam) Foster, Brent, Joseph, Cara and great-grandchild, Nora Foster.&nbsp; He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and family members, who were all very special to him. Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie, father, Joe and sister, Gloria.</p> <p>Graveside service for all will be held at Lakeside Cemetery in Canon City, Colorado on January 21, 2021 at 1:00pm.&nbsp; A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date in 2021.</p> <p>In lieu of flowers, those who so desire may make memorial donations in the memory of Richard to the American Cancer Society by calling: 1-800-227-2345 (take option 2, then option 1) and indicate the &ldquo;donation restriction is for research only&rdquo; OR mail to the American Cancer Society P.O. Richard Keith Tomsick, 83, of Arvada Colorado, passed away peacefully at his home on January 10, 2021.
