Gary L. Kelley was born August 8th 1958 to Sadie Kelley and Freddie Kelley. Gary was born in Kings County Hospital. Gary attended South Shore High School where he dominated in sports becoming a varsity member of the football and wrestling team. Gary worked many years with the NYCPD at the 75th precint as a proud maintenance worker. He was a strong, devoted and very clean man who put all of himself into whatever he was doing or whoever needed help. Gary then met his companion and the love of his life for 38+ years while working at the precinct. They became the proud parents of three children, Gary L Kelley Jr, Derrick Kelley, and Shenese Kelley whom they loved fiercely. Gary enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. One of his best enjoyments in life was fishing, a true fisherman indeed. When he wasnt fishing he enjoyed cooking and feeding anyone who came into his home as he welcomed everyone. Gary was preceded in death by his parents Freddie and Sadie Kelley, as well as his brother Kevin Miles. Gary leaves to cherish his memory the love of his life Darlene Coleman, two devoted and loving sons Gary L. Kelley Jr and Derrick L. Kelley. His two wonderful daughters Shenese Kelley and Lakeisha Whitfield, one brother Freddie Kelley, one stepson Jerome Coleman, nine grandchildren: Laneisha, Myeisha, Latavia, Lamarr, Sanaa, Letrell, Loyalty, DJ, Mikey as well as other loving family members and life long friends.
