WILLIAM NELSON WATTS “BILL”

<p><strong>William Nesby Watts,</strong> affectionately known as &ldquo;Bill&rdquo;, &ldquo;Uncle Bill&rdquo; or &ldquo;Bro. Bill&rdquo; 80, departed this earthly life on January 1, 2021.&nbsp; He was born to the late Thomas E. and Doris E. Watts on September 8, 1940 in Cherokee,&nbsp; Alabma.</p> <p>He was a graduate of South High School, worked and worked for Conrail Railroad.&nbsp; He&nbsp; was a member of St. John CME Church, and as a member of AA, he had over 25 years of sobriety.&nbsp; H worked to help others through the Ignatius Hall at St. Thomas Hospital.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;Preceded in death by parents, sisters, Eula Moore, Bertha Rodgers; brother, Thomas E. Watts, Jr., he leaves to cherish his memory, three children, Marlow Judy, Daryl Slater-Watts and Tracy Nurse; nephews, Andre and Anthony Smith; niece, Missouri &quot;Neicy&quot; Smith; cousin, Derrick Rhoden, all of Akron and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends.&nbsp;</p> <p>Condolences may be sent 1410 Seward Ave., Akron, OH 44320.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Obituary

William Nesby Watts, affectionately known as “Bill”, “Uncle Bill” or “Bro. Bill” 80, departed this earthly life on January 1, 2021.  He was born to the late Thomas E. and Doris E. Watts on September 8, 1940 in Cherokee,  Alabma.

He was a graduate of South High School, worked and worked for Conrail Railroad.  He  was a member of St. John CME Church, and as a member of AA, he had over 25 years of sobriety.  H worked to help others through the Ignatius Hall at St. Thomas Hospital. 

 Preceded in death by parents, sisters, Eula Moore, Bertha Rodgers; brother, Thomas E.
