Siegfried Bader
<p>Siegfried Bader, 89, of Mahwah, died peacefully on January 13, 2021. He was born on September 5, 1931 to Michael and Emilie (Breinich) in Werschtez, Yugoslavia. He lived in Salzburg, Austria before immigrating to the USA in 1956 with his wife, Anna and baby daughter Hannelore. He is predeceased by Anna on 12/10/2020 after 65 years of marriage. Also, by his nephew John Seidl, his daughter Hannelore, godson Jon Baker and his best friend Henry Baker. He is survived by his children, Christina Bader, Irene Calotta (Charles) and Michael Bader (Rona). As well as grandchildren, Cerrie Anna Bader, Mary Anna Connor (Ian), Joseph Calotta, Kat Bader and Drew Bader and great-grandsons, Shawn and Brian. Also, his sister, Margarete Vogel of Australia (Tony) and many adored nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He could fix anything and was self-taught at computer programming, also liked hiking, fishing, reading and science. He will be most remembered for his sense of humor, he could turn anything into a joke, always telling stories and writing, which resulted in a humorous book about life. Private arrangements were handled by Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, Ramsey, NJ.
