Mrs. Lena Mae Young Puckett, 81, of Richmond, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at Baptist Health – Richmond.
She was born in Madison County on August 3, 1939 to the late Hiram and Lottie Gray Young. Mrs. Puckett was a former associate at Wal-Mart where she worked in the snack bar, and was a member of the Gloryland Baptist Church.
Survivors include: her children, Jack Dean Webb, Judy Gail Puckett, and Helen Kilby; one step-son, Ishmael Puckett, Jr.; a special friend, Terry Rose; 7 grandchildren, Connie Webb, Melvin Day, Bridgette Frye (Rob), Wayne Kilby (Andy), Ishmael Kilby, Randy Kilby and Shane Webb; 3 step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren; her half-brothers and sister, James Young, Gary Young, Bradley Young, and Deulah Sturgill; as well as a host of other extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Ishmael Puckett; one son, Larry Webb; one granddaughter, Isabella Kilby; one sister, Gladys Hensen; and one step-sister, Libbie Mitchell.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 18, 2021, at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home, W. Main St., Richmond, with Bro. Cecil Burns officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.
Visitation will be from 5-9 PM on Sunday, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be: Chris Frye, Robbie Frye, Dustin Frye, Melvin Day, Shane Webb, Randy Kilby, and Clifford Green.
Due to COVID-19 mandates, social distancing and face coverings are requested.
