Robert “Johnny “Silva”, Jr. 81 of Gonzales, LA went to his eternal resting place Thursday, January 7, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Silva Sr. and Irene R Silva; brothers, Bennie R Silva and Harry Silva Sr. sisters, Mary Silva and Patricia J Alaniz; nephew Juan A. Alaniz Jr.(Hemo), great nephew, Steven H Harrche Jr., niece, Virginia H. Rihner and great granddaughter, Tali G Burditt.

Robert is survived by his children: Cathy Burditt (Ronald) of Houma, LA; Pauline Arthur (Jim) of Thibodaux, LA; Johnny Silva Sr. (Kim) of Gonzales, LA; and Vickie Maricle (Chad) of Oakdale, La.; sister, Juanita S Harrche (Herman) of Kenner, LA. 9 grandchildren; Kimberly Duet, Ronald Burditt, Jamie Luke, Johnny R Silva Jr., Allen M Lirette, Cheyenne M Silva, Marissa J Silva, Erica W Duthu & Alissa W Roberts. 13 great grandchildren; Preston Duet, Brenna Duet, Kirsten Savoie, Lincoln Burditt, Ashley Bunch, Julie Luke, Jaycee Luke, Ethan Luke, Aidan Silva, Jackson Silva, Camberly Duthu, Calister Duthu, Emma J Roberts.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 18, 2021, at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, Louisiana 70001, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Please note that due to the current State restrictions visitation is limited to a total of 150 people and a face cover must be worn.
