Carrie L. Satterfield
Carrie L. Satterfield, 58, of DeKalb, Ill., died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021, at home. Carrie was born Aug. 1, 1962, in Freeport, the daughter of Donald L. and Barbara J. (Duncan) Satterfield. A 1982 Genoa-Kingston High School graduate. In the past, Carrie worked at Oak Crest Retirement Center and Alloyd in DeKalb. Carrie enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and listening to music. Her grandsons were her world. Carrie is survived by her daughter, Brittney Davis, son, Matthew Davis, and grandsons, Aiden Davis and Noah Davis, all of DeKalb; sisters, Vicky (Garry) Greenlee of Ames, Iowa, Robin (Ted) Lawrence of DeKalb and Jill (Jim) Baenziger of Kingston; brother, Mike (Gwen) of Salisbury, Maryland; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Donald, in 2010, and mother, Barbara, on Dec. 18, 2020. No services will be held at this time.
