<p>Dorothy Sexton passed away Monday, January 11th. Dorothy was 87 years old, born Oct. 7th, 1933, in Cooper, TX, to Belvia Ellis and B Wright. We celebrate her life and rejoice in her eternal reward with her Lord in Heaven.</p> <p>Dorothy is survived by her husband of 39 years, Jerry Sexton of Hobbs, NM. Son, Dan Jeter of Opdyke, TX and grandchildren, Van Jeter of Opdyke, TX and Stephanie Jeter of Fredricksburg, TX and two great grandchildren, Avery and Sydney. Son, Tommy Jeter and wife, Carol of Stanton, TX and grandchildren, Annie Jeter of Big Spring, TX and William Jeter of Gardendale, TX and two great grandchildren, Lawson and Cameron Jeter. Son, Steve Jeter and wife, Carol of Midland, TX and grandchildren, Danielle Jeter of Midland, TX, Breeana Jeter Nelson and spouse Daniel of Midland, TX, Jensen Jeter LeClear and spouse Justin of Germany and two great grandchildren, Blair and Marshall. Son, John Jeter and wife, Gina of Hobbs, NM and grandchildren, Tory Terrell of Odessa TX, Brandon Jeter of Hobbs, NM, and Katelyn Jeter of Odessa, TX and great grandchildren, Sean and Kiersten Terrell and Braelon and Preslee Jeter. She is also survived by stepson, Jay and wife Velisia Sexton of New Braunfels, TX and grandchildren, Clay Sexton of Austin, TX and Matthew Sexton of Seattle, WA and step-daughter, Jan and husband Jerry Glasgow of Guthrie, OK and their two children; Rebecca Dickerson and spouse Zachary of Savannah, GA and Daniel Glasgow and spouse Jordan of Guthrie, OK and two great grandchildren, Brantley and Blakely Glasgow.</p> <p>Dorothy was a kind and loving woman who cherished her husband, family and friends. She was the center around which the family gathered for many years for family events and holiday celebrations. She endeared herself to those she hosted with her wonderful home cooked meals, ready sense of humor and genuine kindness. She was a hard-working woman that worked many different jobs through the course of her life. She attended the New Mexico Junior College for an education in accounting and held bookkeeping positions for most of her career. She enjoyed gardening and working to maintain a beautiful yard. Dorothy attended&nbsp; Cowboy Junction Church and loved the Lord Jesus Christ. Her love and legacy will continue to flourish and live on in the lives of her 6 children, 14 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.</p>
