Anne B. Croft Warwick, Rhode Island Obituary

Anne B. Croft

Anne B. Croft, 77, died unexpectedly Monday, January 11, 2021 at home. She was the wife of the late John T. Croft, Jr. who was her lifelong love. Born in Providence, she was one of four children to John and Beatrice (Couillard) Talacko. Her greatest role was as a homemaker caring for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. While her children were young, she even volunteered her time as a foster mother. As her grandchildren got older, she cherished the time she spent as their nanny, creating meaningful relationships with each of them. She was very spiritual and selfless, loving to care for others who were in need. She is survived by her three daughters, Robin E. Croft and her partner David Salerno, Michelle A. White and her husband Richard, and Erin E. McCaughey and her partner Marc Chapron. She was also the mother of the late John H. Croft. Anne was the devoted grandmother of Megan E. Ferla (Alan), Michael C. McCaughey (Marina), Jessica A. McCaughey (Kellie Larsen), Michael J. Croft, John T. Nolan, and the late James White, and great-grandmother of Ella Grace Eliason, and Dominic James Ferla. Anne had a love for learning and was an avid reader. She loved purposeful conversations, coffee, and anything with chocolate. Above all else, Anne loved her family immensely and she showed it everyday. Her funeral will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Annes name may be made to Be The Change / Project Hand Up, 15 Factory Street, West Warwick, RI 02893.
