Joan Elizabeth Flammia, 86, of Manalapan, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at Centra State Medical Center. Joan was born in Newark, New Jersey and resided in Manalapan for 20 years. Joan was very involved in the community at Covered Bridge and enjoyed playing Bingo. Joan was predeceased by her husband Rocco and brother Harry. She is survived by her daughter Joan and her husband Jimmy; son Rocky and his wife Denise; daughter Diane and her husband Tommy; daughter Lisa and her husband Paul; brother Robert; sister June and her husband Joe; sister in law Flo; grandchildren Jenna, Jimmy, Mandie, Rocky, Corie, Dino, Sherie, Tommy, Paige, Brooke and Paul; great grandchildren Vinny, Joel, Casey, Evan, Jake, Rocco, Leo, Lexi, Aiden, Emmy, Ben, Tommy and A.J.; great great grandchild Harper. Friends and family are invited to visit on Monday, January 18, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Freeman Manalapan - Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North. A funeral service will be held at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, in East Hanover.
