GAIL E. DARBY Gail E. Darby, 69, a longtime resident of the Hillsboro community, died Wednesday evening, January 13, 2021 at the King City Rehabilitation and Specialty Care. Private Interment will be held at the Forest View Cemetery, 1611 West Pacific Avenue in Forest Grove. GAIL EILEEN DARBY was born June 27, 1951 in Aniston, Alabama, the daughter of the late Lowell Coleman and Marjorie (Harp) Coleman. She was raised and received her education in the Forest Grove community, having been a graduate of the Forest Grove High School Class of 1969. She was united in marriage to Norman Robert Darby on September 10, 1972 in Forest Grove, Oregon. They celebrated their 48th Wedding Anniversary this past September. Following their marriage, they moved to the Hillsboro community, where they have resided since. Gail was a homemaker. Among her special interests, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lowell and Marjorie Coleman; her sister, Barbara Coleman and her brother, David Coleman. Survivors include her husband, Norman Darby, of the family home in Hillsboro, Oregon; her son and daughter-in-law, Devin and Sarah Darby, of Bend, Oregon; her two brothers, John and Ron Coleman, and her five sisters and brothers-in-law, Cathy and Joe Sweeney, of Weatherford, Texas; Karen and Jerry Parmlemini, of Depot Bay, Oregon; Carla and Troy Allen, of Hillsboro, Oregon; Christina and Mike Garcia, of Abeline, Texas and Nicole Coleman, of Hillsboro, Oregon.
