<p>Barbara Spivey Poole, age 82, of Sanford, NC, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at FirstHealth Hospice with her family by her side.</p> <p>She was born in Chatham County on July 11, 1938 to the late William Ralph Spivey and Frances Cole Spivey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Glenn Marshall Poole. She was a member of Shallow Well United Church of Christ. Barbara worked for many years for JC Muse Company before opening her own accounting business from her home.</p> <p>She is survived by her children, William Wesley Finch and wife, Cindy of Asheboro, Curtis Poole of Four Oaks, Marshall Poole and wife, Stacy of Arkansas, Karen Ricker and husband, Bob of Cary and Mary Ellen McLaughlin and husband, Mike of Alabama; brother, Ralph “Ed” Spivey of Sanford; sister, Brenda Marsh of Sanford; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.</p> <p>A private graveside service will be held at Shallow Well Cemetery with Rev.
