Rosalee Juanita Hardeman Obituary

Rosalee Juanita (Roberts) Hardeman, 72, was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on January 4, 2021. Rosalee was born on December 4, 1948 to Russell Charles Roberts and Florence Juanita Roberts in Antigo, Wisconsin. They lived in Hollister, Wisconsin on a dairy farm until her family moved to Corpus Christi, Texas in 1951. There she attended Travis elementary, Wynn Seal middle school, and graduated from Carroll high school in 1967. Once graduated Rosalee worked as a book keeper for Borden milk, where she met Don Roy Hardeman. Soon after they fell in love, married on July 21, 1969 and were married for 46 years.

As a young business couple they owned and operated a bicycle shop, two gas stations, and a small plant store. Rosalee took time away from the businesses to be a devoted mother to her two boys. Taking them to school functions, go kart races, or skateboard and BMX competitions. After Don Roy and David grew up, graduated, and had children of their own, Rosalee; being the caring person that she was, took in and helped raise all three of her grandchildren. She was the most devoted, nurturing, grandmother and great grandmother. No matter who or what it was, Rosalee always found the best in every person or situation. With her glass never half empty and always full, she strongly held a positive outlook on life. No matter where life took her, she always touched hearts and made friends. Whether it was her undivided attention, her comforting motivational words of wisdom, her ability to truly listen, or her loving warm selflessness. She always made one feel like taking a seat by her side to enjoy a long conversation. She will truly be missed by many.

Rosalee is proceeded in death by her beloved husband Don Roy Hardeman Jr, parents Charles and Florence Roberts, brothers Thomas and Jeffrey Roberts.

Rosalee is survived by her sister, Audy Anderson; and brother Ross Roberts; children, Don Roy Hardeman III and David Scott Hardeman; grandchildren, Amaris Hardeman, Victoria Hardeman, and John Hardeman; seven great grandchildren, three nieces and three nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Cornerstone church located on 3409 Waldron Rd. Corpus Christi TX, 78418. Interment will be private and at a later date.
