Harold Benjamin Roland, Sr. passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021. Services will be held Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 4pm in St. James Lutheran Church, Red Bank, SC, with burial to follow in church cemetery.  The family will receive friends 1 hour prior at the church. He was born September 12, 1948 in Lexington County to David H. and Anna Ree Starnes Roland, and married the love of his life, Margaret Elizabeth Asbill, on February 18th, 1967.  He was proudly self-employed for over 40 years. 

Harold loved his hot rods and classic cars.  He was also quite fond of his weekly trips to the flea market.  He was passionate about traveling, seeing new places, playing his guitar, and singing. 

Harold is survived by his loving wife; sons, Gary Roland (Lindy), David H. Roland (Sandy), Kevin Roland (Misty); 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; his sisters, Hilda West (Guy), and Virginia Hall; and his brother, Luke Roland (Barbara). 

He is predeceased by his son, Harold Benjamin “Ben” Roland, Jr.; brother, Henley E. Roland; and his daughter, Baby Girl Roland. 

Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel, is assisting the family with plans.
