<p>Nina Sue Hagler Brown, age 84, of Northport, AL, passed away on Wednesday, January 13,2021 at Northport Medical Center. A private family service will be held. A memorial celebration will be planned at a later date. Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of her cremation. </p> <p><br /> Nina was born on May 10,1936 to Henry Albert & Helen Elizabeth (Libby) Hagler, the baby of 7 children. She married Joe Ed on April 1,1955. Nina loved her family the most she was a great cook and loved working in her yard and garden. She was very loved by (and very proud of) all her boys, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who called her Niny. She was a lifetime member of Macedonia United Methodist Church with a beautiful alto voice.</p> <p><br /> Nina was preceded in death by her son Scotty Brown of Northport. She is survived by her spouse, Joe Ed Brown; her sons Mickey Brown, Billy Brown (Valeria) and Tommy Brown (Evonne) all of Northport; grandchildren Adam Brown (Jennifer), Abby Rushing (Brandon), Andrew Brown (Angelica), Derrick Brown, Amy Brown, Jake Brown, Bradley Brown, Brett Brown, Brian Brown (Karley) and great grandchildren Alexia, Ella, Camden, Landyn, Logan, Tyce, Lyla and Nora due in March; and her sisters Patty Jean Armstrong and Mary Channell (Elbert).</p> <p>In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Macedonia United Methodist Church, 14837 Hwy 69 N, Northport, AL 35475.</p>Obituary
