<p>Charles Ernest Froehlich, 85, of Sanford, NC, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021 at Central Carolina Hospital.</p> <p>He was born in Hazel, New York on March 18, 1935 to the late George Froehlich and Ida Schrier Froehlich.&nbsp; He was also preceded in death by a sister Veronica Kleingardner and brothers George, Arnold, Fred, and Leo Froehlich.</p> <p>Charlie enjoyed building model cars, watching old westerns on TV, maintaining his cars and playing rummy.&nbsp; He loved his grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.&nbsp; He will be greatly missed.</p> <p>Surviving relatives include his wife Holly Lenore Froehlich at home; a son, Charlie Froehlich and Kristin of Williamsburg, VA; two daughters, Charlene Schlott and Michael of Sanford and Susan Peaceman and Scott of Panama City, FL; a brother, Robert Froehlich and Margaret of Monticello, New York; six grandchildren, Olivia Heath, Brianne Schlott, Micaela Schlott, Hanna Froehlich, Zoe Froehlich, and Maggie Froehlich; and one great grandchild, Roanoke Heath.</p> <p>Graveside services and burial will be Wednesday January 20, 2021 at 3 PM in the Laurel Hill Cemetery in White Sulphur Springs, NY.&nbsp; The Rev.
