Lorna Ann MacKinnon, age 73, passed away peacefully on Monday January 11, 2021 at the Ross Payant Nursing Home in Assiniboia, SK. Ann was born on August 23rd, 1947 to her parents Mabel and Ernest Thompson in High River, AB where she called home the majority of her life. It was there that she met her loving husband Malcolm MacKinnon of 51 years. Ann will be remembered for her passion of gardening, camping, music and crafting of beautiful ornaments, crocheting blankets and cross stitching that she crafted by hand for friends and family. Ann was preceded in death by her parents as well as her sisters Laura and Betty and her brother Kenny. She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband Mal and her four children Lori, Robin, Gwen (Dean), and Darryl. Her grandchildren Nicky(Jon), Tasha, Taylor (Adeline), Cody, Kaytlin and Chanse. Her Great Grandchildren Brooke-Lynn, Kashton, Carah, Brayden, Kyden, Nash, Calysta and Cole. Her siblings Richard (Marie), Lorraine (Brian), Coreen and Brian.
