Janie Rogers Prosser, 92, of Glen Burnie, MD passed away on January 13, 2021. At the time of her retirement in 1991, she was a letter carrier for the Brooklyn Park Branch of the US Post Office. She was the beloved mother of William H. Prosser and his late wife Shirley, Pamela Ambrozewicz and her husband James, Janet P. Hofmann and her husband Joseph and the late John Rogers Prosser, cherished grandmother of Amy Rutledge and her husband Brian, Paul Ambrozewicz and his wife Danielle, Anna and Lily Hofmann, great grandmother of Jenna and Austin Rutledge, dear sister of Rommie Thompson. Services and interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Ms. Prosser's name to the Gilchrist Hospice (www.gilchristcares.org) or to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org)
