Theresa D. Levasseur

Theresa D. (Letourneau) Levasseur, 91, of Lawrence, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021.

Daughter of the late Donat and Mattie (Madore) Letourneau, Theresa was born in Lawrence on October 16, 1929. She was employed as a secretary for the Lawrence School Dept. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Good Counsel-St. Theresa’s Church. She was a member of the Rainbow Club.

The wife of the late Emile R. Levasseur, she is survived by her son, Emile D. Levasseur; a sister-in-law, Theresa Duhamel; and several nieces and nephews. Theresa was predeceased by her siblings, Annette Rossignol, Rene Letourneau, Richard Letourneau, and Doris Tellier.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to calling hours on Sunday, January 17, 2021, from 2:00 pm-5:00 pm at the Dewhirst & Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Monday, January 18, 2021, at 10:00 am, in Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish-St. Theresa’s Church, 22 Plymouth St., Methuen, MA 01844, and will be live-streamed at olgcparish.com. Everyone please meet at the church. Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, 29 Barker St., Lawrence, MA 01841. Due to COVID-19 protocols, face masks and social distancing will
be required.
