Shirley R. Lloyd, age 69, died peacefully on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 with her family by her side at Wesley Health Care Facility in Saratoga Springs, NY. She was born in Ballston Spa and was the daughter of the late Warren and Jane (Brundage) Hickok. Shirley was a graduate of Ballston Spa High School and a lifelong resident of Ballston Spa. Prior to becoming a wife and mother, she worked as a banker and later, as a pre-school administrator. After her marriage to Kenneth, she became a homemaker and together they raised two wonderful children.

Shirley loved camping, swimming, gardening and other outdoor activities and she was a lover of animals.

She was the beloved wife of Kenneth P. Lloyd; mother of Aaron (Lauren Kastberg) Lloyd and Rebecca Lloyd; sister of Carol (Eugene) Holmes, Clifford (Pat) Hickok, Eugene (Cindy) Hickok and Andrew (Nancy) Hickok; grandmother of Adelina Lloyd. Shirley is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in the Spring.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Saratoga County Animal Shelter, 6010 County Farm Rd, Ballston Spa, NY.
