Beverly S. Freemantle

Beverly S. Freemantle, 89, of Enfield, widow of Charles W. Freemantle (2010), entered into eternal peace at home, Tuesday Jan. 12, 2021. Beverly was born in the Scitico section of Enfield to the late Albert and Alvina (Usher) Brewer. She was formerly employed by Somersville manufacturing from 1972-1983 and later was employed by Choice-Vend in Windsor Locks for many years. Beverly was an avid bowler and found great joy in the game. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time outside caring for her yard and keeping it well-kept. She is survived by her son, David C. Freemantle, three grandchildren, Donna Hamre, Amber Freemantle and David Freemantle II, six great grandchildren, Ashley, Sydney,and Bradley Hamre, Julius Stocinis, Haley and Ison Freemantle, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Beverly was predeceased by two sisters, Alberta Donihee, and Bernice Hayden. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wed. Jan. 20, 2021 at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield, with one hour of visitation to be held prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Committal will follow at Hazardville Cemetery.
