Annie Graham Obituary

Annie Lee Graham, beloved daughter of Eunice A. Albert and the late Otha Harmon, was born on December 24, 1957 in Quinby, Virginia. Annie was educated in the public schools of Accomack County, graduating in 1978 from Central High School. She joined the workforce in the early eighties becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant and working in several industries including: Heritage Hall Nursing Facility, Shore Memorial Hospital, and Riverside Hospital. Annie, joined Ebenezer Baptist Church in the 1980s, became an Eastern Star Member-Rising Star Chapter#14, and a black belt in karate. Annie enjoyed taking care of others, traveling, talking, and telling ole stories, going on cruises, and trying different types of foods. You could often hear her quote her favorite word, “Fiddlesticks,” during a conversation. Annie departed this life on January 11, 2021 at Norfolk General Heart Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her aunt, Janice Singletary and uncle, Sammy Singletary. She leaves to cherish her memories: her mother, Eunice ( Herbert) Albert; daughter, Kendal “Kim” Jones; brother, Jimmie (Renee) Graham; four aunts, Dorthoy Webb, lynette Wyatt, Jerline Jones, and Arline Jones; three uncles, Jerry Jones, Ernest Jones, and Herman Jones; two nieces, Lakesha Knight and Danyelle Graham; nephew, John ”Boomie” Gaskins; goddaughter, Ja'Kierre Parker; and a host of other relatives and friends.
