She was a great storyteller and fascinated us all with her tales of mountain life. Bernice was a kind, loving person who adored children and they adored her. She made every child feel special. She was friendly, social and liked by all who met her. She had a huge smile and a wonderful laugh. Bernice came from a musical family and loved to dance and sing. She loved music! Bernice was happiest working in her yard and garden. She could make anything grow and would spend hours outside enjoying nature, bird, and making her yard so beautiful. She took pride in her home. Bernice loved to travel to Hawaii, Reno, Las Vegas, the Oregon Coast, Disneyland, and back south to visit family. She was young at heart and so much fun to travel with. Christmas was absolutely her favorite holiday and she would spend months trying to find the right gift for everyone. She was gleeful and full of so much joy at Christmas and while traveling.
